Cape Town is raving about Kinky Boots - and it's so easy to see why. It's the feelgood uplifting story that we all need to see.

Kinky Boots, recipient of 6 Tony and 3 Olivier Awards, tells the story of a shoe manufacturer (Charlie) who enters an unlikely partnership with a drag performer (Lola). In their quest to produce the perfect stiletto capable of supporting the weight of a man, Charlie and Lola discover they have a lot more in common than they initially thought.

“Kinky Boots has it all - a beautiful story of hope, inspiration and friendship, combined with fabulous music, glittering costumes, breathtaking choreography and plenty of heart. We cannot wait to welcome our audiences to this Fugard Theatre original production of an International smash hit!” - Daniel Galloway, Executive Director of the Fugard Theatre.

The score for Kinky Boots is a true earworm - you'll still be humming "The Most Beautiful Thing", "Sex is In The Heel", "Everybody Say Yeah", and countless others for months after you've left the theatre. Complementing these iconic songs is some fabulous choreography from Louisa Talbot (I've seen a few sneak peaks, and these moves are the definition of spice), ensuring that your eyes are just as dazzled as your ears.

This Fugard production has had multiple extensions and now must close on the 2nd of February 2020. So superbly cast, sang, danced, directed, choreographed, and created, Kinky Boots is a dazzling delight which you don't want to miss.
