With respectful nods to French history and coinciding with the weekend of Bastille Day, the Franschhoek Bastille Festival has in itself become a hybrid celebration of local French culture blended with all that we love about South Africa. The festival is an opportunity to get into your best winter clothes, hopefully including garments of vibrant reds and blues paired with white, and strut your stuff all while enjoying local delights at the iconic Franschhoek Monument.

Treat yourself and your squad to the best wines and MCC's the region has to offer, while snacking on delicacies from Franschhoek's numerous eateries. With a myriad of fun activities, gorgeous views, and live entertainment, the weekend will whiz by in a whirlwind of excitement.

"The captivating village is a hive of activities, dressed to the nines in the French colours of red, blue and white for the weekend, embracing its French heritage, and adding to the hype and excitement the weekend has become known for."
